Wonderful photo! I was reading just last night how a sunflower is really a community of little flowers, together making one big flower... For some reason the phrase "Communion of Saints" (communio sanctorum) comes to mind...
I have always been struck by the way each little 'soldier' pops up, ready for 'duty' giving all to bring beauty and process into the world - and what we see is a beautiful flower. Nature continues to fascinate me.
